MW 4300 / MW 4310
The laboratory measuring units supplied by TEWS Elektronik are deployed
wherever the moisture of product samples needs to be analyzed with high accuracy
and where conventional moisture measuring methods such as drying
cabinets or semi-micro titration are too time-consuming.
Analyses are independent of natural variations of product properties such
as color, grain size, salt content or bulk density. These robust and functional
units are extremely easy to operate such that wrong handling of samples is
quite safely excluded. Measuring results can be stored on a PC network or
USB memory stick for further validation.
A large number of different moisture sensors will adapt to the laboratory measuring
units. Tubular sensors also allow the measuring of densities.
No preparation of samples required
The measuring method developed by TEWS Elektronik allows the measuring
of product samples without any preparation. No grinding, weighing before and
after the test or use of chemical reagents. The sample under analysis is neither
modified nor heated and can normally be returned to proper use.
Results obtained in seconds flat
Measuring is completed in less than no time. As soon as the sample is filled
into the sensor, the display will show the result which can be committed to memory.
Fast measuring often helps to avoid costly process delays..
Validation of results
Results are stored in the unit together with the measuring date and time and
other operational details. Use the instrument or an external PC to prepare a statistical
analysis of results or display a time vs. value chart of sensor readings.
MW 4300 and MW 4310
Laboratory tester MW 4300 features a 10.4“ color touch screen monitor for displaying
sensor values and for configuration parameter setup. For display and
configuration, MW 4310 needs to be separately equipped with a monitor, keyboard
and mouse commercially available at your PC dealer‘s. TEWS Moisture
View is included in both packages as the user and operation software.
